MANDATORY TEAM GEAR (Each team must have the following at all times)
- Working Cell Phone in waterproof bag (for emergencies only)
- 2 Compasses
- 2 Chemical lights or Headlamp
- Adventure Medical Kit Ultralight .7 Or build your own aid kit:
(Gauze bandage, tape, elastic bandage, ibuprofen, antihistamine, moleskin, towelettes, antibiotic ointment, tweezer, safety pins, duct tape.)
FULL TIME MANDATORY PERSONAL EQUIPMENT (Each team member must have the following at all times)
- Whistle
- Space Blanket
- Means to carry at least 50 oz of liquid
- Food for entire race
PROHIBITED EQUIPMENT
- GPS’s, Binoculars, Altimeters
- Weapons
- Maps other than those provided by the race organization.
- Communication devices other than sealed cellular phone
- Motorized means of transport
